Arlete Moraes is a Brazilian translator and interpreter based in England, with over 30 years of experience living and working in the United Kingdom, Brazil and Spain
She is the face behind Expression Language Services

Since it was established in London, ELS  has been  providing translation and interpreting services for businesses, UK local authorities, translation agencies, individuals, PR agencies, retail & investment banks, insurance companies, financial data providers, rating agencies, stock exchanges, UK & Spanish universities, to name a few of our end clients.

As a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, a renowned language professional body, Arlete Moraes can provide certified translations in the United Kingdom.

Throughout her career, Arlete has had the opportunity to use her language skills within different spheres of interest. She  has sound experience in the corporate, financial and banking sector.

She worked as a bilingual analyst in the City, London’s financial hub, covering the Portuguese and Spanish speaking market s.

She lived for 12 years i n Spain,  where she contributed as a  financial translator for a leading Spanish bank. A rlete managed a team of translators for the Investor’s Day in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid.

Qualifications

  • Dip TransIoLET - CIOL Diploma in Translation in English/Portuguese (Merit), Master's Level 7 - UK
  • Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL) - UK
  • BA in English/Portuguese Translation - PUC-SP - Brazil
  • Community Interpreting Certificate in English<>Portuguese (Consecutive/Liaison) - Level 3 - OCNLR - UK
  • Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - UK
  • Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) - Instituto Cervantes - Spain
  • Principles of Stock Exchange Investment - London Metropolitan University – UK
