Certified Translation

What is a certified translation?

Depending on the country, a Certified Translation is also known as  a  Sworn Translation or Official Translation. These translations are required for  official purposes, such as applications for visas, schools, universities, job applications, marriage, separation, divorce, etc. In the UK, these translations are called certified translations.

Our director and founder, Arlete Moraes, is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists , a renowned language professional body, and therefore, can provide certified translations in the UK. 
Arlete Moraes is a Brazilian translator based in England and works in collaboration with British and Brazilian translators in London.

Certified Translations include :

• a statement by the translator attesting the completeness and accuracy of the translation.
• the translator’s name, signature, stamp and date.
  
• a copy of the original document and the translation.
